How Do You Organize A TV Trivia Tournament?
Make all those hours, days, weeks, months and years spent watching television pay off. Invite some like minded people over for a rousing game of questions and answers about America’s real pastime, watching TV. Make it as elaborate or simple, competitive or casual as the spirit moves you. The important thing is to have fun and recoup some of the lost time spent in the “couch potato” years. Decide the format. Will it be Jeopardy style with responses mandatory within a certain time frame, a slow moving board game or a raucous free-for-all? This will dictate how many guests you invite and whether or not there will be teams. Invite the guests and feel them out for the level of competition. Will it be a cut throat, badge of honor affair or more of freewheeling shouting match where cheating is encouraged? If playing in teams, decide the teams. Choose an emcee.
