A road rally is nothing more than an adult scavenger hunt using cars. The clues given should lead the participants along a journey ending at a preset location or a location determined by the clues. Plan and keep the agenda for the road rally simple. There are usually a minimum of 10 cars per rally. The best road rallies are well-thought-out, have a per-car entry fee and often end at a restaurant or gathering in which “prizes” are given for the top three to five finishers. Also, most road rally participants are as a result of word-of-mouth advertising. Further, if the road rally is organized around a particular charity, be sure to get an express agreement about the percentage of the profits that will be donated to that charity.
