Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, is celebrated on the last Monday of May. This day is set aside to remember military service members in America killed at war. It was first recognized to remember Union Soldiers who died in action. This is a day to honor the dead, but often we fail to remember them. Memorial Day is a day we should celebrate with our families by having picnics and gatherings, good food and fun.
