Be prepared for changing schedules by managers and candidates who will no show. Step 1 Understand the position. Ask the hiring manager what the expectations of an employee are. Ask the manager to discuss soft and technical skills. Personality fit is equally important to technical skills. This will be very helpful when screening candidates. Step 2 Organize the key players as quickly as possible. It is very helpful to have good timekeeping software. Recruitment software would be ideal but not necessary. Coordinating everyone’s schedule will be the most time consuming effort. Make a list of everyone’s availability. Narrow down 2-3 time slots where everyone is available.
