The above answer is absolutely right and to Context it, is imply to put the references into context, as in quote where you used the reference. If on page one you reference the bible, then in bibliography you would state that the bible was referenced one page one and where, as to what kind of detail your supervisor needs in relevant only to them, it may be just that it was referenced on page one, ore page on, second paragraph, or which specific line, you would have to ask what detail is required. However the most usually required is page and paragraph, anything else is a little over kill.
