Panasonic is one of the more popular makers of camcorders. Not only has Panasonic been in the business for a long time, but they are also consistently pushing themselves and competitors to make better camcorders. For example, Panasonic made one of the first hard drive HD camcorders available for everyday consumers. Although Panasonic camcorders vary, there are some similarities in how they operate. Turn the camera on by locating the “On/Off” button on the top of the camcorder. In order to switch the button into the “On” position, you must press and hold the button in the middle of the switch and then move the button over to the “On” position. The camera is turned off by holding the button and pushing the switch back to the “Off” position. Insert the disc or cassette for the camcorder by sliding the “Disc Eject” lever to the side and releasing it. This will partially open the compartment.
