How Do You Open A WPD File?
A WPD file is a file created with Word Perfect word processing software. Naturally, if you have Word Perfect on your computer, you should have no problem opening this file, provided your version of Word Perfect is an equal or later version than the software that created the file. If you don’t have Word Perfect, however, other word processing programs have converters that allow them to open WPD files, or you can try a free online file conversion tool. Open Microsoft Word. For best results, use the most recent version of Microsoft Word. Select Open from the File menu. Select “All Files” or “All Readable Files” from the File Type drop-down menu and navigate to the location on your hard drive where the file is stored. Its name should show up in the menu of available files that can be opened. Select the file name and then click open. Microsoft Word will open the WPD file on the screen.
