How Do You Open A Winterized Inground Pool?
Before opening a winterized inground pool, you will need to get the cover ready to remove. After the cover is removed and put away, you need to get the water ready for swimming. The pool water is going to be dirty and possibly green with algae. The process of cleaning the water should be done correctly so that you are not wasting the chemicals trying to get the right balance. Remove the debris from the cover with a pool net. You may have leaves or branches on the cover that you don’t want to get into the pool water. Remove standing water on the cover by using the submersible pump. If your cover is a tarp styled cover, you will have deep pockets of water to remove because of the inner tubes placed under the cover. Place the pump on the pool cover where you have the deepest water and run. Do not leave the pump unattended because it will not take long. Remove the cover and clean with a cleaner. Allow to dry before folding up and putting away to prevent mold and mildew from forming. Uncove
