The process of removing the cover on the Dell OptiPlex GX110 computer depends on the model of this computer that you have in front of you. There are four types of the OptiPlex GX110: the Small-Form-Factor, Low-Profile, Midsize and Mini Tower. The first three models take similar procedures for opening the cover, but the last one is a little different. Even so, getting the cover off is simple, so you can get right down to upgrading, cleaning or fixing the components on the inside. Turn off the computer and disconnect the power cable and peripheral devices.
