How Do You Open A Dell Computer Tower?
Dell computers towers are among the easiest desktop computers to disassemble. However, if done incorrectly and carelessly, your computer can suffer damage and you can potentially harm yourself in the process. To prevent this, it is important to understand the components of your computer and exactly how to remove the cover of your computer tower. Turn off your computer, then disconnect the power supply and any miscellaneous peripherals. It is also a good idea to wait 10 to 15 minutes before attempting to open the tower, in order to avoid the possibility of electrostatic shock. Lay the Dell computer tower on its left side, then press on the two release buttons located at the top and bottom of the tower. Raise the back cover until the inside of the computer is completely visible. To close the Dell computer tower, simply place the cover down, then press on the cover until the two release buttons snap into place and the cover is securely attached.
