A traditional way to obtain a wooden White House Easter Egg is to go to the White House Easter Egg Roll. This event has occurred annually for the last 130 years on the South Lawn of the White House. It includes activities such as an Easter egg hunt of 1,000 or so wooden eggs signed by celebrities and athletes, a basketball game, cooking classes and story-telling. In order to participate, your family must have a child 10 years of age or younger. Each child will be given a wooden egg, signed by the President and First Lady, honoring the occasion.
