How Do You Obtain A Second Passport Legally?
U.S. citizens are normally only allowed to hold one U.S. passport. However, Lebanon and Syria will refuse entry for travelers who have an Israeli visa or entry stamp in their passport. Travelers who want to go to Lebanon or Syria while their passport has an Israel entry stamp or visa can get a second passport book. It may also be possible if visa processing takes an extraordinarily long time and you need to depart very soon. Get a letter on your company’s or organization’s letterhead, signed by your supervisor, that has contact information for the organization and clearly states that the second passport is needed for travel to the countries in question.
