How Do You Obtain A Florida CAM License?
A Community Association Manager, or CAM, oversees the operations of a homeowner’s association. A CAM license is required for those in the state of Florida who manage in excess of ten properties within the homeowner’s association or handles budgets over $100,000, according to the IFREC Real Estate Schools website. The prospective CAM must undergo 18 hours of classroom education from an approved real estate course and complete a state exam in order to obtain their licensure. You also must be 18 years or older and successfully pass a background check. Participate in and complete the required 18-hour course requirement from an approved real estate school in your area.
