In the world of horse racing, the jockeys and horses are usually front and center. While behind the scenes, the trainer works tirelessly to help the jockey and horse race their best. Now that is not to say they don’t get any attention but the trainer can be under appreciated at times. One way to make certain a trainer gets their due is to nominate them for the racing hall of fame. Recognize that to nominate a trainer for the racing hall of fame, the trainer must have been licensed for 25 years and currently in retirement. After those 25 years of service, a nomination in the name of the trainer can be made. In addition, the trainer is eligible for the hall of fame for another 25 years.
