How Do You Naturally Clean Tile Grout?

0

You don’t need expensive grout cleaners that contain harsh chemicals and/or dioxin creating chlorine bleach. You can easily clean up your counter grout with something nearly every kitchen cupboard has…baking soda! With very little effort and cost you can keep your kitchen counter grout looking clean and fresh. Dampen your grout with a little bit of water. Let the water sit for a minute or two. Sprinkle baking soda on the area to be cleaned. Scrub gently with an old toothbrush. Rinse counter and grout with wet sponge. Voila! Not only have you cleaned and deodorized your counter grout, you’ve polished your tile as well! For molded and mildew areas such as in the bathroom, use a vinegar/water solution (1 part vinegar, 2 parts water,) in a spray bottle. Thoroughly mist affected area, do not rinse and let dry. Go back over affected area with a stiff bristled grout brush. Rinse.
