Internet Explorer Favorites are stored files containing links and names of your favorite web pages, allowing you to find those pages quickly and easily. If you purchase a new computer, or perhaps you work on two different computers, you can move your favorites from the first computer to the second. First, you must export your Favorites to a flash drive or CD, then you can import the Favorites onto your new computer. Open Internet Explorer on the original computer from which you want to move your Favorites.
