Mounting a Wall hung Plasma TV can be a tricky job, mostly because they can be very heavy. Thats way the most importion part about Mounting a Plasma TV is making sure the hardware is attached to a stud in the wall like seen in the drawing. Pick the desired area for your TV, next if you have a stud finder locate a stud inside of the area where you want the TV hang, if you don’t have a stud finder take your hammer and tap soft on the drywall inside the TV area till it don’t sound hollow. Then use a small nail tapping it in through the drywall till a stud is located. Most houses these days have wall studs that are 16″ on center so after you have located the first stud simply mark over both ways every 16″ inside the area of where the TV will be hang. Next run a level on the wall marking a level line across the stud marks you just marked for wall stud layout. Bolt on the mounting hardware that came with the Plasma TV to the studs.
