How Do You Mount A TV Antenna To An Eave?
When you mount a TV antenna to an eave, you greatly improve the signal you receive when compared with “rabbit ears” that sit on top of your television set. When you install an antenna on the eave of a house, you can often hide the antenna from view from the front of the house. Using a TV antenna eave mount allows you to anchor the TV antenna to the side of the house instead of drilling into the roof. For the mount, place the large bracket halves next to each other so you line up the center holes. Insert two small bolts, included when you purchase the mount, into the two outer holes. Attach the nuts and tighten them to secure the large bracket halves to each other. Insert two long bolts into the remaining holes in the center of the large bracket halves. Put the pipe clamp strap on the two long bolts, threading the nuts onto the bolts. Place the pipe inside the pipe clamp strap and tighten the bolts so the pipe sits securely.
