Monitoring network bandwidth use helps administrators identify slowness and bottlenecks. Slow performance over a network connection is frustrating for users, and sometimes the problem arises from poor bandwidth limitations. A free tool called Netstat monitors bandwidth. The program is a Windows application run on the administrator machine. Download and install the software.
