How Do You Monitor MFG Tires On A Snapper Lawn Mower 410-4?
A Snapper lawn mower model 410-4 requires the same amount of air pressure in both of the front and rear tires for the best operation. Tires with low air pressure do not extend the tire on the bottom enough while rolling on the ground, placing undue stress on the tire. Tires with too much air pressure burst and puncture more easily because the rubber has more stress on it and is stretched tighter. Check the air pressure with a tire gauge to insure your tires have a long life. Park the lawn mower on a level surface. Kneel down next to the front right tire. Grasp the tire valve cap and turn it counterclockwise to unscrew. Lift the cap straight off and set it aside. Place a tire pressure gauge on the tire valve stem and press it inwards. The needle on the bottom of the tire gauge will push outwards from the gauge. The number that is closest to the metal gauge housing is the air pressure in this tire. All four tires are recommended by Snapper to have 10 to 12 psi in them. Turn an air compre
