How Do You Monitor An Alarm System?
Alarm systems gather data from various sensors that are strategically located around the perimeter of the home. The system can gather a wide range of data. The data can pertain to events, which can include calls for help, burglary, fires, tampering with the sensors and trouble—which can include low battery warnings and phone line problems. Events are automatically reported to central monitoring stations via the phone line. You can also monitor these events yourself with a cell phone or pager. Enter the master code in the keypad. The display will read “Set Phone Number.” The central monitoring number and first, second and third private phone numbers are set by the installer. You can program the fourth number. Program the system with your cell phone number. Press Show/OK and enter your number. Enter the digits sequentiall;, they flash on the display. Press Show/OK again and the number will be memorized and show solid on the display. Press Next until “
