Once you have applied a fill to an Adobe Fireworks object, such as a shape, you can then modify those fill edges. The fill edge you choose to apply to the object will highly impact the style of that object and whether it will have a crisp outline or a feathered outline. Start Adobe Fireworks and open an existing document that contains an object to which you would like to modify the fill edges. Select the object you want to modify by clicking on that object. You will see blue sizing handles surround the object when it is selected. Notice that the Properties inspector at the bottom of the screen will now reflect the properties for the object you selected. Apply a fill to the object using the “Fill category” menu and color well in the Property inspector, if you haven’t already applied a fill to the selected object.
