How Do You Minimize Bacterial Resistance When Using Tropical Antibiotics For Acne Control?

Unfortunately, there is not a lot you can do to reduce the development of resistance. I am assuming you are using benzaclin which is a combination of benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin. There are reports of clindamycin resistance occurring in the bacteria that is responsible for acne. However, benzoyl peroxide is still effective even if the antibiotic portion does not provide additional help. If your acne started to develop resistance, you can also swap to other products that use different antibiotics to kill the bacteria.
