By taking the time to properly measure the area in which you want to place your dryer before going shopping, you can save yourself a headache later on. Measure the height of the area in which you want to place the dryer. Measure from the floor to the ceiling. If there are shelves hanging over the area, measure from the floor to the bottom shelf.
