With this easy process you will be able to find out what size lines your system uses, enabling you to purchase the correct parts. Cut a strip of paper 1 inch wide and 8 inches long. Wrap the paper around the gas pipe you want to measure. Use a pen to mark the spot on the paper where it first overlaps itself. Measure from the edge of the paper to the spot you marked in step 3.
