When you are experiencing computer issues like slow speeds and frequent crashing, the problem is probably located in your computer’s registry. The registry keeps track of all computer activity, and can become cluttered with useless information. By cleaning the registry of unneeded data, you can ensure that your computer runs as smooth as when you originally got it. Open the registry. Click “Start” and select “Run.” In this window, type in “regedit” and press “OK.” Look at registry entries. The hard part of this process is deciding which entry isn’t important.
