Making jewelry with wire is much easier than you likely think it is. You can either use tools such as a jig or bend the wire by hand. Also, there are many different kinds of wire for making jewelry, such as square-shaped, round, even silver or 14 carat gold. No matter what kind you choose, you can make your own unique wire jewelry creations. Cut several pieces of wire to desired length. Place your low gauge wire on the surface of a bead. Hold down the wire and begin wrapping it around the bead until you reach the starting point. Bend the wire in place. Repeat this process, playing with different ways to manipulate the wire around the beads. For example, make loops or eyelet shapes. Wrap one length of wire around a jig, following the pattern of the template you have selected. Repeat this process with several pieces of wire until you have several in the same pattern.
