Talk to staff and ensure that they participate in every step of the change process. Make sure throughout the process that they have the opportunity to comment and make suggestions. Show that the change will do nothing to reduce their importance to the organization or result in downsizing which could cost them their jobs. Make sure that you tell them that they will receive training in any new skills required of them due to the change. Then make sure that you follow through with the training.
