How Do You Make Wooden Cross Clocks?
All kinds of people like clocks, no matter what design. Making your own clocks are good projects and can reflect your own individuality. Wooden crosses with a clock are pretty and can be customized. You can create this design in one day and find supplies either around your house or at your local craft store. Draw a cross pattern or find a preprinted cross design that you like. The size can be any that you prefer. Cut out the outline of the cross and tape it to the wood. Draw the cross outline on the wood with a pencil. Cut the cross out of the wood with a jigsaw. Drill a hole in the direct center of the cross. This is where the clock hands will go. Sand all of the surfaces of the wood and round any sharp edges. Stain the wood with any color wood stain. Apply as many coats as needed to achieve the desired color. Allow it to dry. Place the self-stick numbers in the correct clock position. Press firmly for a tight fit.
