Craft spiders out of wire and copper pot scrubbers to create some creepy creatures for your next Halloween. This craft requires the help of a parent. Plan to spend less than one hour to create a wire spider. You can hang them from ceilings and doorways to enhance your Halloween decor. Purchase lead-free soldering wire from a hardware store. Replace the wire with heavy gage craft wire or pipe cleaners when you are working with small children or if you can’t find lead-free soldering wire. Cut four lengths of wire to 15-inches each. Use heavy duty wire cutters to cut the wire. Use scissor if you are using pipe cleaners. Form a head in the copper pot scrubber by grabbing a small section at one end and twisting it. Wrap one of the wires around the twisted part to hold the head in place. Wrap the remaining wires around the neck of the spider.
