Wind chimes are easy and fun for kids of all ages to make. They are a great present for a child to give on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or any other holiday, and they can be tailored to match any season or theme. They use minimal materials, some of which can be recycled household items. Make one vertical cut along the entire length of each toilet paper tube. Tape the cut sides of both of the toilet paper tubes together, forming a large circle. Tear the magazine pages into tiny pieces and glue them all over the outside of the tube. Let the glue dry until it is hardened. String the end of a ribbon through the hole on the top of a bell and tie a knot to hold it in place. Repeat this step three more times, using the rest of the bells and three more ribbons. Punch four holes, approximately 1 1/2 inches apart, around the bottom of the tube.
