How Do You Make Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies?
This recipe uses whole wheat flour. Your husband and children will NEVER KNOW it is a “healthier” cookie unless you tell them it’s got whole wheat. They will just keep coming back for more. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup brown sugar Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Add 3/4 cup oil. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Add 2 eggs. Now cream these 5 ingredients together till well blended. Add 2 cups whole wheat flour into the mixing bowl. Add 2 cups rolled oats. Add 1/2 tsp salt. Add 1 tsp baking soda. Add 1/2 tsp baking powder. Blend together these ingredients. Then add 1 cup chocolate chips. Grease your cookie sheets with PAM. Then drop rounded size spoonfuls of the dough onto the cookie sheets keeping a space of about 2 inches in between each cookie. Now cook them in the oven for 8-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Let them cool for 2 minutes after you take them out of the oven before removing them from the cookie sheet. Instead of cookies, you can make these into bars by placing all of the dough in a greased 9×13
