Hosting a wedding shower can actually be fun – if you choose easy, make-ahead goodies that can also serve as favors and decorations if you wish. Personalize these cookies with the bride and groom initials and their wedding colors and be a big hit with the guests! Make cookies according to recipe, roll out and cut out with heart shaped cookie cutter. Using a small knife, cut the hearts in two (zig-zag style), separating the hearts for baking. Bake as directed. Cool completely. Make Royal Icing according to recipe directions. Divide into white (for frosting the entire cookie) and one or more wedding colors (for the personalizing).
