You can use a cultural tradition, such as the African-American “Jumping the Broom” tradition, as a theme for the entire wedding. Tie it all together by making miniature brooms to pass out as favors to commemorate your special day. Decorate your broom favors in colors that coordinate with your wedding. Purchase or cut wooden dowels to 6 inches. These will serve as your broom handles. Cut the straw so it’s about 2 inches long.
