Venison is easy to prepare with this recipe for Crock Pot Venison and Gravy. While cooking, the venison becomes very tender and creates it’s own gravy. Delicious! INGREDIENTS: 3 pounds deer steak, cut into bite sized pieces 1 cup flour 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup oil 1 medium onion, sliced 1 medium green pepper, sliced 1 can cream of mushroom soup Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dredge venison in flour mixture. Brown on all sides. Place into slow cooker. Place onion and green pepper in crock pot over venison. Spread cream of mushroom soup over all. Add water to almost cover meat. Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours, until meat is tender, adding water as needed.
