Valerian root is a natural herb that has proven to have calming effects on your body and mind. Try this tea mixture and start feeling better. Bring 10 cups of water to a rolling boil in a pot on the stove. Once the water is boiling turn the stove off and put the pot on a burner that isn’t hot. Open one valerian root capsule (450mg) contents into water and stir until it’s completely dissolved. You can find valerian root in your local grocery store or health store isle, usaully around the vitams or other over the counter medicines. Add 2 tsp. of honey and stir until it’s dissolved. Now you can add 6 bags of chamomile (or your favorite tea of choice) and let them steep the water for approximately 4 minutes. If it isn’t sweet enough you can add 2 tsp. of sugar and stir well. Let cool for one to two minutes and enjoy.
