How Do You Make Valentine Snowflake Hearts Kids Craft?
These valentine snowflake hearts are made similar to paper snowflakes. Any colored paper could be used for the background instead of painting it pink. Using a red paper background with white paper snowflake hearts would be festive for Valentine’s day. Purple paper background with yellow paper hearts would be pretty too. Children about 5 to 7 years old may enjoy making this craft the best with supervision from an adult. Paint paper pink by putting a little pink non-toxic poster paint in a clean plastic lid and dabbing the paint on with a sponge. The sponge should texture the background nicely. Cut out one or more paper hearts from the white paper. Folding a 4″ X 4″ piece of paper in half, and cutting out half the heart shape and then opening it into a full heart is an easy way to do this. Fold the edges of the heart in to meet at the middle crease, and then fold in half to prepare the heart for decorative cutting. Snip little designs into the heart.
