How Do You Make Valentine Friendship Rings?
Valentine’s Day is a special day to remember people we love and care about, and this includes our good friends. A Valentine friendship ring is a creative and fun way to remind our friends how much we care about them. Get out some simple craft supplies and have some fun! Cut a tiny heart shape from the heavy construction paper or craft foam. Use the hole punch to make two holes in the center of the heart. Cut a 4 inch length of pipe cleaner. Bend the pipe cleaner in a U-shape and push each end through the hole, from front to back. If you are using foam, you can simply push the pipe cleaner through the foam without punching a hole. Measure the size of the ring on the recipient’s finger and twist the pipe cleaner until the ring fits. Tuck in the ends of the pipe cleaner. If the ends are too long, snip them with the scissors. Glue on embellishments of your choice, such as beads, jewels, or sequins. Cut the colored paper into strips about 12 by 2 inches. (You won’t be wearing these rings.)
