You can make a comfy king-size bed from the twins with a little creative effort and a few small purchases. Position the two twin box springs horizontally in the spot you wish to construct the bed. Lay the twin mattresses on top of the box springs vertically. That is, the box springs and mattresses should not be stacked linearly, but rather as if laying brick: two horizontal, topped by two vertical.
