Your Thanksgiving dinner guests will be delighted when they see that their place at the table has been marked with a unique, handmade turkey place card holder, and when dinner is over, they can take their place card holder home. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the pine cones on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for about 45 minutes. The heat will kill any bugs or bacteria in the pine cones and make them safe to put on your Thanksgiving table. Wrap a brown pipe cleaner around the narrow end of each pine cone. The pipe cleaner should go in the second or third row of the pine cone “leaves.” Bend the remaining part of the pipe cleaner into a circular head shape that extends from the top of the pine cone.
