Italian is my favorite type of food. I love it. Spaghetti and meatballs especially. I started making the meatballs out of turkey when we decided to get away from eating so much beef. It turned out wonderful. This recipe makes about 24 medium meatballs. I put enough meatballs in freezer bags for a meal and freeze (about 6 to 8 per bag). It gives me enough for three or four meals. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix turkey, salt, garlic powder, crackers, tomato sauce, and onion in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly. I mix with my hands. Heat skillet with about 1/4 inch of oil. Pinch off of meat mixture about an inch portions. Roll it in palm of hand into ball. Place in the hot oil. Continue, browning all sides of the balls. Place the browned balls in the sprayed oven pan. Place in oven and cook for 10 minutes to finish cooking. Let them cool. Divide them into portions. Freeze the ones to use later. I use small freezer bags.
