How Do You Make Turkey & Apple Salad Sandwiches?
This is a creative and tasty alternative to the usual sandwiches we all love to eat from those leftover holiday turkey meals. This Turkey Salad recipe has it all: Sweetness from the honey and apples, saltiness from the crispy bacon and just a little tangy from the mustard and lemon juice. So go ahead and have that plain but yummy generic turkey sandwich that is an absolute must, but then give this a try! Cut your apple into thin slices, try to keep them together so you can simply turn them and then slice downward until you have small, thin strips. Put them in a large bowl, sprinkle with the lemon juice and stir to coat. Chop your turkey into small cubes and add to bowl with apples. Add mayo, sour cream, mustard and honey on top and stir until all ingredients are coated with mixture. Taste it at this point to determine if you want to add salt and/or pepper.
