Looking for creative place card holders for your event without the expense? Make them yourself with simple supplies. Paint each of the mini wooden flower pots using the craft paint and foam brushes. When the pots have dried use a contrasting color and a dry bristle brush to gently add color to the pots. This will give the pots an antiqued look. Allow the pots to dry completely before handling. Using a craft knife cut pieces of florist foam to fit inside the flower pots. Make sure the florist foam fits snuggly. Take a twig and cut it into a small piece. The height of the twig should be proportional to the flower pot. Remember to leave ample room for the topiary. Push the twig into the florist foam that is in the pot.
