How Do You Make Top Notch Chicken Chili?
This Top Notch Chicken Chili recipe I received from my mother years ago, but didn’t start making it until the 2008 Football season. The first time I made it I had about 12 friends over watching lots of Sunday football games. They were in love with it. I wish i would have made twice as much. This is a great dish you can make throughout the fall and all winter long. In a Quart pot, heat olive oil, sauté chicken and onions together until chicken is cooked throughout and onions are tender. Add garlic, jalapeno, all tomatoes, beans, hominy, chicken broth, and chili powder. Simmer for 20-25min, until reduced slightly. Once you get desired thickness, add cilantro and lime juice. Then ready to server. Now you are ready to serve! Top with a dollip of sour cream, chopped red onions, and shredded Cheddar Cheese. And for a little extra flair, sprinkle with fresh chopped cilantro.
