How Do You Make Tombstones For Halloween?
Halloween is an exciting holiday for both children and adults and part of this excitement is decorating for the big night. This year include a creepy addition to your front yard by making this tombstone out of items you can find at your local hardware store. Lay the foam on your work surface and draw the desired shape of the tombstone with the marker. This shape could be basic, with an arched top or more elaborate, with a cross design. Your tombstone should measure roughly 18 inches wide by 26 inches high. Use the serrated knife to cut out your shape and clean up the edges. Paint the tombstone with the stone textured paint and let dry completely. Make sure you have all areas of the tombstone covered. Decide what epitaph you want written on your tombstone and use a rotary tool to carve the words into the foam. It will help the letters stand out. Use the black paint and paintbrush to fill in the words. Spray the entire tombstone with a light coat of the acrylic sealer and allow to dry. S
