How Do You Make Tissue Paper Stationery?
Beautiful, handmade paper stationery can make a terrific gift with a personal touch, but you don’t have to dig into your savings to get the expensive store-bought versions. With a few cheap tools and some leftover tissue paper, you can create one-of-a-kind stationery kits for your friends and family. Kids love helping with this project, and it is surprisingly easy to master. Before long, you’ll be using your homemade paper for more than just stationery. Make a paper mold by stapling a piece of mesh screening to a wooden picture frame. You can use duct tape for this if you do not have a staple gun, but you may have to reattach the screen periodically because it will get wet during this project. Prepare your paper pulp. Tear the tissue paper into small pieces, no bigger than 2 inches square. Place the paper pieces into the blender, and add just enough warm water to cover them.
