How Do You Make Tiramisu, A Popular Italian Dessert?
Last night we made Tiramisu, a popular Italian dessert! Here’s how we did it. There are two things that will be prepared and then put together. First, make the coffee dip. Coffee Dip Heat up your espresso coffee. We put a bowl of coffee over the simmering (almost boiling) water. After it’s heated, put 1 teaspoons of sugar in it. It will dissolve. Now let it cool and move on to the Zabaglione Filling. Zabaglione Filling Put two egg yolks in a pan (pour out the egg whites–this is because the eggs are raw). Zabaglione Filling Continued You will need a pan of simmering (almost boiling) water. Put the bowl of two egg yolks on top (don’t let water get in) of this water. Beat until it becomes thicker and fluffy. Zabaglione Filling Continued 2 Now that the eggs are fluffy, stir in the 1/4 cup of sugar. And then stir in the 1/4 cup of port wine.
