So here’s a cheap and easy method to make tasty Greek yogurt at home! Pour 1/2-1.5 gal of milk in pot. Milk can be whole, 2%, 1% or even skim, but it works best with higher fat percentage. Place kitchen thermometer in the pot, close the lid as much as possible, and heat up to 175F. This step is to kill off all the bacteria already residing in milk. When milk reaches 175F, turn off the stove immediately and set the pot aside to cool down to 110F. When the temperature is near 110F, preheat the oven to 105F.
