How Do You Make The Ultimate Bacon Cheddar Cheese Soup?
You wont believe how easy this is to make and how great it tastes! This recipe will feed 6 to 8 adults. Its great for a cold day-Enjoy! Sauté onions in butter in a large saucepan. Mix cheese and cornstarch with onions. Pour broth into saucepan and add the cheese cornstarch mixture a little at a time. Cook soup over medium heat until cheese has melts. Keep stirring until smooth and creamy. Add bacon, broccoli, Worcestershire Sauce, garlic powder, and a little salt and white pepper to taste and stir well. Heat over low heat, pour in cream and stir well. Let stand about 15 minutes. I always add a little bit of shredded cheese and a pinch of parsley to the top for decoration. You may serve this with salad and or a sandwich. We eat this soup with bread and butter and sometimes white crackers. I hope you and your family enjoy this as much as my family does!
