How Do You Make The Perfect Boiled Egg?

0

The easiest way to make “The Perfect Boiled Egg” for potato salad, egg salad or just deviled eggs, with no green around the yolk and easy peeling! Have your eggs sit at room temperature (prevents cracking). Place your eggs in saucepan, filling with enough cold water to cover the eggs. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Place on med/high heat and bring to a hard boil. Cover immediately, remove from heat. “DO NOT REMOVE LID” let it sit for 1/2 hour. When time is up, immediately place eggs in cold water (this stops the cooking process) for about 3 to 5 minutes. If you wish you can add some ice cubes. Drain and dry the eggs, use immediately or refrigerate. Your eggs will be done to perfection with no green around the yolk and easy to peel. To remove shell, gently tap over paper towel on counter top rolling egg until cracks appear, then peel. ENJOY!
